 TOWN OF STONEWALL – PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

 The Stonewall Planning & Zoning (P&Z) Commission met with 5 visitors. The members present were Charles Watson, Pat Jones, Jeanene Sanders-Wiggins, Craig Roberson, and Dusty Roach. Planning & Zoning Members John Cristler & John Alvarez were absent. Mayor Ken Kaffka was also present.  

 Motion to dispense with the reading of September 18, 2025, minutes and adoption was made by P&Z Member Craig Roberson and seconded by P&Z Member Jeanene Sanders-Wiggins. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.

REPORTS: None.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Randy Rodgers made a comment regarding the exterior design of Brassica Farms and whether what was approved abided by building standards.

OLD BUSINESS: None.

NEW BUSINESS:

a) Recommend approving a plat for one-acre lots on Stanley & Pine Grove Road that all connect to existing roads. Discussion followed. P&Z Member Pat Jones made a motion to approve the plat presented, seconded by P&Z Member Dusty Roach. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.

b) Discuss and make a recommendation to the Stonewall Town Council to amend the Zoning Ordinance regarding Billboard Regulations; Title being: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF STONEWALL REGULATING OFF PREMISES ADVERTISING. Discussion followed. P&Z Member Craig Roberson made a motion to approve the recommendation to the Stonewall Town Council, seconded by P&Z Member Jeanene Sanders-Wiggins. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.

c) Building Standards: None

Motion to adjourn the meeting by P&Z Member Jeanene Sanders-Wiggins, seconded by P&Z Member Dusty Roach. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.
