TOWN OF STONEWALL – PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

1746 US HIGHWAY 171 STONEWALL, LOUISIANA 71078: APRIL 22, 2026, 6:00 P.M.

The Stonewall Planning & Zoning (P&Z) Commission met with 7 visitors. The members present were Charles Watson, Pat Jones, John Alvarez, Craig Roberson, Jody Raney, Jeanene Sanders-Wiggsin, and Dusty Roach. Mayor Ken Kaffka was present.  

Motion to dispense with the reading of March 19, 2026, minutes and adoption was made by P&Z Member Pat Jones and seconded by P&Z Member Jeanene Sanders-Wiggins. 7 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSENT. Motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT:

OLD BUSINESS: None.

NEW BUSINESS:

A) Discuss updating Town Ordinances that involve the Planning & Zoning Committee. There were discussions about updating Ordinance Number 99-2019 - Subdivision Regulations, to correct errors, add amendments, and request input from an engineering firm. 

Motion to adjourn the meeting by P&Z Member Pat Jones, seconded by P&Z Member Craig Roberson, 7 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSENT. Motion carried.
