NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TOWN OF STONEWALL

PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

 

The Town of Stonewall Planning and Zoning Commission, DeSoto Parish, Louisiana, will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Government Plaza, 1746 U.S. Highway 171, for the purpose of:

Review and make a recommendation to the Town Council to amend the Zoning Ordinance.

Review and make a recommendation to the Town Council to amend the Subdivision Ordinance.

Rezone the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Government Plaza property located at 1746 US Hwy 171, Stonewall, LA to SG-O District. The SG-O District is multipurpose that includes governmental type facilities such as the Town Hall, Library, Town Parks, Fire Department, etc.

The public is invited to attend.
