TOWN OF STONEWALL – PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

The Stonewall Planning & Zoning (P&Z) Commission met with 6 visitors. The members present were Charles Watson, Pat Jones, Craig Roberson, Jody Raney, and Jeanene Sanders-Wiggsin. P&Z Members absent were Dusty Roach and John Alvarez. Also, present Mayor Ken Kaffka.
Motion to dispense with the reading of May 21, 2026, minutes and adoption was made by P&Z Member Craig Roberson and seconded by P&Z Member Pat Jones. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
OLD BUSINESS:
A) Continue the discussion on updating Town Ordinances that involve the Planning & Zoning Committee. Discussions followed. No action was taken.
NEW BUSINESS:
A) Discuss and take action on Bexley Trace Subdivision Street Plat. Discussion followed. P&Z Member Jody Raney approved the street plat, seconded by P&Z Member Craig Roberson. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.
B) Building Standards: Revised Exterior Design for Tim Pruitt’s Gym. Discussion followed. P&Z Member Craig Roberson made a motion to approve the redesign of Mr. Pruitt’s Gym. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.
C) Discuss meeting dates for the next 6 months and take action. P&Z Member Craig Roberson made a motion to approve the 3rd Thursday of each month through January 2027, seconded by P&Z Member Pat Jones. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn the meeting by P&Z Member Pat Jones, seconded by P&Z Member Craig Roberson, 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion carried.
