TOWN OF STONEWALL – PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

The Stonewall Planning & Zoning (P&Z) Commission met with 3 visitors. Members present were Charles Watson, Jeanene Sanders-Wiggins, Pat Jones, John Alvarez, and John Cristler. Members John Cristler and Josh Black were absent. Mayor Ken Kaffka was also present.
Motion to dispense with the reading of May 2, 2023, minutes and adoption was made by P&Z member Pat Jones and seconded by P&Z member John Alvarez. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion Carried.

NEW BUSINESS:
a) Request to re-subdivide Goldsby Business Park Unit 2 as a single-lot subdivision. Discussion followed. P&Z member Pat Jones made a motion to approve, seconded by P&Z member John Alvarez. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion Carried.
b) Request approval of the exterior design for Shield Storage Centers. Discussion followed. P&Z member John Cristler made a motion to approve the exterior design as long as they adhere to exterior design standards, seconded by P&Z member Jeanene Sanders-Wiggins. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion Carried.
c) Request approval of the exterior design for Magnolia Health & Wellness. Discussion followed. P&Z member John Alvarez made a motion to approve the exterior design as long as they adhere to the exterior design standards, seconded by P&Z member John Cristler. 5 YEAS, 0 NAYS, 2 ABSENT. Motion Carried.
