Important reminders when report littering:
To report someone who littered while driving, you must have their license plate information, the make of their vehicle, and the location of the littering. The more information you have, the better.
Include your name and contact information, so our officers can contact you to gather more information. For simple littering, you will be asked to sign an affidavit. This will allow our officers to mail the violator a citation, otherwise, they will receive a warning letter. For gross littering (dump site), an officer will contact you to gathering more information to begin the investigation.
